Volunteer at the FFF Facility

Upon filling out the Volunteer Registration, you will be invited to attend a hands-on Volunteer Orientation on any Sunday from 11:00am-1:00pm. It is only required to attend a Volunteer Orientation to help at the facility.

Schedule a Shift!

  1. Choose weekly shift times and days that will work for you most often to join a Seasonal Volunteer Team for a term of 13 weeks.

    December 4th-March 3rd Winter Season Team
    March 4th- June 2nd Spring Season Team
    June 3rd- September 1st Summer Season Team
    September 2nd-December 1st Fall Season Team

    All shifts remain the same this year and daily:
    Shift #1: 7:00am-10:00am
    Shift #2: 10:00am-12:00pm
    Shift #3: 12:00pm-2:00pm
    Shift #4: 2:00pm-4:00pm
    Shift #5: 4:00pm-6:30pm

    Vet Assistants: 3:30pm-6:30pm Monday-Friday
    Open House 10:00am-1:00pm Saturday or Sunday

    Yes! It's okay to miss a shift. We ask that you find a sub by posting in our volunteer group Behind the Scenes at Frosted Faces Foundation.
    Yes! We do orientations weekly!
    Yes! You can join a Seasonal Volunteer Team at any point!
    Yes! There will be a team party to celebrate your commitment at the end of each season!

  2. Email the Volunteer Coordinators to schedule shifts and they will add you to the calendar.

  3. We welcome you to schedule outings with our Frosted Faces to local wineries, hiking trails, or even the beach. We can help you choose an available Frosted Face that best suits your activity on the day of the outing unless you have one in mind. Please consider our Frosted Field Trips and Frosted Flings as well!

We have Volunteer Shirts for sale that we encourage you to wear to your shifts, on freedom rides, to community engagement events, and everywhere else where you can spread the word about senior pet adoption.
